I think Malaysia’s approach is better in this case. Malaysia relies a lot on fair trade, especially with the U.S., and these new tariffs could harm its economy and workers. While Trump wants to protect American jobs, the tariffs might cause bigger problems, like trade wars, which could hurt everyone.

Malaysia is right to try to negotiate and work with other countries to find a fair solution. It’s important to stand up for fair trade and avoid letting one country make all the decisions.
