My guess is that that last portal was on a wall that was about to rotate upwards, and as the player passed through it, uh... it created something like... a proxy situation... where Chell goes so insanely fast in that direction that her position os projected to uhhh GLaDOS' lair... also the player temporarily loses collision for some reason???

Unless it's a cut.

I can believe that this is actually true knowing how broken source engine is. But it also looks so much like a cut, Ive never seen it before after watching several speedruns, and you didn't even enter OOB... Sus. If anyone who knows a thing or two could link an explanation I'm all ears.
