The part with his grandkids gets a bit more semnificance when you realized the actual Steinbrenner's grandchildren watched the show

I used to work in a call center that had 2 different shifts: 7-4 and 9-6. The first hour or so of the first shift was pretty slow and I heard a story of a girl you worked that shift who for that first hour, sleep under her desk and pull a blanked over the chair so no one could see. Clearly at some point someone noticed and I wonder if she got the idea form this episode.
