As always, love the content. .net is changing so fast, its hard to keep up. Is this something that can happen automatically? As you mentioned receiving data from an api that is taking a while. Can a new thread spin up to help with that workload?

I guess the real question is. Why would you want to do this over using async/await's thread pool and state management?

With webworkers there's no way to share a class or complex objects between them, the only mechanism is sharing an array or marshalling data over via serialization. In .NET we can create threads that share's anything we want; what I'd love to know is if we can do the same here. Can these threads share a class? For example, can we instantiate a Dictionary instance and share that between the threads and have each one modify/access it via the usual synchronization mechanisms?
