Adam west’s version was absolutely not the first batman, he was the batman after they tried to change the character to a more kid friendly audience in the 60s, the comics changed due to the popularity of the kids show, but before the adam west era imo he was closer to the michael keatons batman because in my opinion it matches the original detective comics gothic and darker noir esque kinda feel that those 30s-40s batman had
