I had a devil of a time trying to find a hotel in Ischgl that was not a four-star in town before giving up and booking at Hotel Schlosshof. The hotel was clean, nice, room huge, but not to my taste. Austrian hotels are usually family-owned, as this one was, but it just didn't have that warm, fuzzy, family-owned feel to it.
We came to Ischgl to hike and walk for 9 days. With lots of daily rain, videos to be uploaded are sparse but will give an idea of what Ischgl, a huge winter sports center, is all about.
