Damn! That KUKA is fast! - 55 Seconds from start to finish

I took a training course to learn how to program the Kuka robot. Then, on the last day, the instructor wanted us to "tune" the program we created to shorten the time it takes to get from the starting home position to the end home position. The robot completed the program the first time in 81 seconds. With the tuned program, it completed it in 55 seconds. There was a few more points that could be made faster but we didn't have time. The mounting fixture the robot was bolted down to was not stable at all while running it at 100% speed. This was a fun class to take!

Hi, Thanks for sharing. I'm in the market to buy a use Kuka robot but I have no experience programing the robot. What do you recommend me doing in regards to learning all about KUKA programing. I would highly appreciate all the help

I used to work at Michelin. We had these exact same robots in operation before I left. But it wasn't for anything but repetitious motion. They cleared out a whole dept. Went from 25+ ppl to less then 5. Yay progression. 🤨
