Windows 10 Miracast Wireless Display setup and use

Looking at setting up Miracast Wireless Display in Windows 10.

Setting this up is quite similar to in Windows 8.1, but is accessed through the new Action Centre as opposed to the defunct Charm Bar.

what if your TV has Miracast / Bluetooth capability and yet Windows 10 can not find the device? How to video is useless if it doesn't show people how to troubleshoot or explain it technically. Anyone can follow menu options.

What if your pc says " Your pc or mobile device doesn't support Miracast, so it can't project wirelessly."?

Hello, i did a DxDiag and it says miracast its available but it doesnt work, i go to connect and then it says its not supported.

So, your pc keeps trying to discover miracast? just unplug the miracast dongle then plug it back in and give it another go.. this worked for me

Hi I am confused to chromecast vs screenbeam wireless display kit, you mean we need to buy the kit and plug into TV first then activate the casting? Its about 4 times more expensive than Chromecast...

My pc says that Maracast is not avavilble so I got the dongle and hooked to TV it won't show in the connect settings but the dongle shows in the wifi connections area.. I click to connect to it but asks me for a pin. Were do i find the correct Pin...
