Versatile and intelligent can't be used interchangeably.

He is so intelligent ≠ he’s such a versatile person (these have two completely different meanings)

Why are you distracting people with these high level fancy words?
you don’t have to show off on your ielts test and stop impressing the examiner with words that u don’t even know how to use them. Just keep it simple. That’s it.
Please, don’t confuse students by telling them if they use these words they’re gonna get higher marks, PLEASE. It’s all about speaking naturally and fluently not impressing the examiner that will definitely lower your mark.

those high level words are not even being used in other countries. I live in USA but till today I didn't see anyone using such high level words which are learnt in IELTS and GRE

Folks, please use normal english with a neutral accent and you will do just fine. Many are under the impression that one has to speak with an American or British or Australian accent and only then you will be accepted. That is just not so. Focus on the content and not delivery.

FOR "HE IS SO INTELLIGENT", WE CAN ALSO SAY: HE IS BRAINY

This is a misleading video. Vocabulary doesn't mean to use uncommon words or proverb idioms, this would decrease your score. Instead, use chunks, collocations and non- proverb idioms along with diverse grammatical structures with the right choice of words for right meaning.

It's not about fancy words. It's all about the way you convey your ideas

Maam most of IELTS part is idioms and it’s so weird to speak in this way, I have appeared for IELTS TEST and scored 7.5 band as I did MBA from Harrow school of management London believe me no native speaker of UK speak like this.

What you used as IELTS words were some Idioms, so you could say Normal English verses Idiomatic English!
