for the sole purpose of consistency and simplicity I weight meats (and if possible everything else) raw to eliminte the error factor when they are cooked, because the can be a huge variation of how much water being lost or gaind through the cooking process

Raw if possible, because cooked weight will vary much more based on how you cook it, and how long you cook it, whereas raw chicken water content is more uniform
Eg. Well done steak has more calories per gram than medium rare steak, which has more calories per gram than raw steak. Et cetera
The nutrition information on MFP is derived from USDA data, which are at best averages of limited trials, and in alot of cases estimated from macronutrient ratios (Atwater Specific or General factors)
Of course there's so much interindividual variation in NEAT, digestive efficiency, etc, that the difference is likely irrelevant

somehow this doesn't answer my question. If raw chicken breast weight 200g and after cook weight 100g. Would the macronutrient amount remains the same? 200g is 60g of protein where 100g is half that at 30g. its a huge difference.

Did 100 gms of cooked chicken breast contains the same 22gm of protein as raw chicken breast...??

Raw hundred percent. Why? Because depending on how much you cook the food the weight will change. You’ll never know if the food lost (or gain in case if rice etc.) same amount of water compared to the last time you cooked it. Raw weight will be exactly the same every time, it is so much more reliable.

To save money I prefer to cook a whole chicken and strip it down. How do I track something like this for calories and protein?

Here how i do it, if i have to eat 150 gr of chicken then i put 200 gr to cook, and as it getting ready i take it out of the pan and weight it until it's 150

Or just know that nutrition facts for meats are usually based on raw meat portions and not cooked portions?
