I like this a lot! Thank you for posting. Nothing at all wrong with the look of it, either. To fit my décor, I'd need it to be less rustic and dark. I'd probably use caulk and wood filler to make things smoother, give it a finer sanding, and use white paint, possibly chalk paint. I also might make it even taller by adding lockable casters or something similar by way of metal feet.

Good job, and thanks for sharing. I've been wanting to make a similar elevated bed frame because the dog likes to chill under the bed, and her joints are starting to get a little stiff for crawling under it. Let us know how those joints hold up a few more months down the road.

Nice look and build ! It will become kinda dusty under the shelf... how is it doing 2 years after you setteled it ?

Love it! My husband thinks it needs a brace to the ground in the middle if the bed. Did you find it needed more support like that? Other than three long boards. I think this will be great to put those big black/yellow lid storage bins under for additional storage in a small space. May have to cover up with a bed skirt though.

I heard that outside treated lumber should not be used indoors because of thr chemicals uses to treat it. Is that true?
