Wow, this unlocked so many memories from school, building various projectile launchers from mechanical pencils. My personal favorite was a spring loaded crossbow style launcher made from a mechanical pencil, pen, paper clips, rubber bands and a pushpin trigger. It could break skin!

My go to weapon was the click highlighter. Thing had a huge overpowered spring in it. Take two springs and cram them into one highlighter, jam a wad of paper into the end of it, then aim and click it, would basically just explode and launch the front part off.

Second favorite was a passive weapon. We rotated classrooms and I’d always find someone had messed with stuff in my home room desk. I took a red G2 pen, pulled out the nib, turned it around so the point faced into the ink well, then put it back together as much as I could. The nib didn’t fit well backwards and was really loose, but it also couldn’t fit fully back together due to the size. When you clicked it, it just fell apart, and the ink would suddenly pour out. Needless to say I found who was messing with the stuff in my desk.
