I love that even though in the beginning everything is to scale for her, the fact that the camera angle is from below makes her look large.

Man i never thougth about it but they pretty mutch did everything they shouldnt do when introducing any animal to a new space.
-Loud scary noises.
-Suden movements
-Physicaly forced into big enclosure without capacity of exploring on their own.
-Almost no enrichment apart from other animals.

Someone designed both the giant bed and the humungus machinery it requires + elevator/room
And many people must have been involved in it's construction + huge room.
They can aford atendants or a psicologist
Or the basic decency of letting them keep their name.
Or a few trees and plants at the edges of the room.

Here’s something I never thought about until now: who made her clothes? Obviously they were custom-made for a giant person, but supposedly whoever made them not only had the infrastructure and materials to make them but also made them incredibly fast. Think about it, she gets tranquilized, moved to the black site, and wakes up from that transition with the new clothes. We could be generous and say she was being continuously sedated for way longer than we think, that she was sedated for a month. But even if we were extremely generous and said they had 6 months to make it, I don’t even think they’d be done making her shoes. Now, we could also assume the government in this world has some sort of “growth ray, ” allowing them to grow things up to size, but if that was the case why don’t they have a shrink ray that can just shrink Susan, or use the growth ray to make their own super big soldier?

And I get it, it’s a children’s movie, so there’s tons of inconsistencies. But it makes you wonder

Okay! Who here thinks the government should count themselves LUCKY that Susan wasn't aware of just how strong she really was? We later on see her bursting through the walls of an ALIEN ship. No doubt made out of harder and more dense alloys than those found on Earth. She probably could had punched and tore her way through that facility like it was nothing.

When Susan first met the other monsters, she reacted with horror and begged to be set free. But at the end of the movie, she considered them her friends. That's character development for you.

I always wondered why the monsters stayed in good terms with the general even though he imprisoned them. Then my friend made a good point that it might have been best for them because other people could have found them and experimented on them
