There's a bonding event in the sequel where this song plays as Rean trains against Sara. She mentions belief and believe several times, how she believes in her students, how she believes in what she fights for, and how her past resulted in her being really strong. I find the intensity of this particular track and Sara's ideals to match up well together. It explains why this song also plays when you fight her in the first game.

TLDR: Sara to me drives home why this song is named Belief and why it's intense.
