Love The Monkees music 🎶 actors and musicians! The are great in concert 🎶😎 of course I think of Daydream Believer when it comes to music from 1967!!!

I was in SF during the “summer of love” and it was the ultimate music experience. So much music played free in the park and on the streets Janus Joplin, Van Morrison, Jefferson Airplane, country Joe and the Fish. Grateful Dead, etc., etc. An unforgettable experience! The Monkeys get a bad rep because they were rather clean cut and simple but I definitely have a place in my heart for them! Every time a Beatles album was released it was like a religious experience! Astral Weeks (Van the Man) is still one of my top favorites!

The Monkees are the Pre Fab Four, as in prefabricated. The Beatles are the Fab Four as in the 60s term used at the time, Fab.

I think they changed the whole line from "now you know how funky I can be" to "now you know how happy life can be" which does make sense but not as good as the first version...
