SONY TCK-611S - great 3 head cassette deck w Dolby S & automatic calibration

Here we have one freshly restored beauty SONY TCK-611S, vintage 3 head cassette deck with Dolby S noise reduction and automatic calibration. It's in beautiful shape, almost like new and I don't mind automatic calibration because I can use it up manually.

I'll test it for recording with many old tapes, I'll do calibration many times, and then I'll do some recordings.

I just purchased the same model for $270 including shipping. It’s in excellent condition, new belts and pinch rollers. I know it’s a lot of money but this model has great reviews and finding mint examples are rare. The question is…is it worth what I paid?

7:24 that happens because of debris in the cassette shell guides specially the ones on the extreme sides, you can clean them or bypass them before it gets the whole tape.

I have this deck along with the tc-k661s. I was wondering where did you source new pinch rollers as mine are looking a bit shiny and will need replacing. Keep up the good videos, where do you get all these great decks from? 😊

Remember the Dolby mark is meant to be MAX level when you add Dolby on recordings. Otherwise you get distortion...
