“installing” NEW CARBURETOR echo string trimmer (fb k93 model srm-225)

I ordered a kit with carb, gaskets,fuel lines, fuel filter, spark plug & air filter
Watched your vid a couple of times & others replaced it all in under an hour
Also cleaned the spark arrestor runs like new
A couple of times on primer bulb
Usually second or third pull starts right up
After it warms up
Half a pull starts it
I paid 200 for it 14 years ago from HD changed the plug a couple of times that’s it
Definitely recommend this tool

My Echo SRM 225 runs like a BEAST for about 15 minutes and then boggs right out... if I let it sit for about 20min I can repeat the process however it always seems to "choke" out. It'll restart immediately but the moment I hit anywhere near half throttle it starts to choke even though it ran perfectly normal up till then... lower mid-range seem to function but the moment you get anywhere near the high end of the throttle it just drowns once it's good and hot

I've replaced the fuel delivery system, cleaned the carburetor, changed the spark plug and kept her topped off with fuel plus of course always kept a nice clean air filter... I build gas RC cars, ride Motor Cross Bikes and have Decades of experience maintaining chainsaws, lawn mowers and all types of gas powered equipment yet I've never seen anything quite like this... I guess the next thing I'm going to try is to completely swap out with a new carburetor?

I bought her new and never had a problem for about 7 years of residential use🤔

But what about the gasket to the tank? Mine rotted and needed to be replaced. Replacement I have appears too large or else I can't get it on without damaging it.

I did my change out but my edger stays on and won't idle. As soon as it starts trimmer stays on what do u think it's wrong
