I love Garcelle for this. It's like Kathy is saying "I love everybody the same, doesn't matter of the color I think you're all great doesn't matter what your skin color is" but then Garcelle is sitting there thinking "Well why is this person sat next to me being treated by society better than me and doesn't get racially profiled" etc etc

Garcelle explained herself beautifully

Yes! It’s a privilege to not have to explain to your four year old the issue of race. Preach girl.

I can not say it enough, I absolutely love the new woman on here. Garcelle, Sutton, and Katey.

Garcelle you are 100 percent right. Crystal realises that, because she has experienced what Garcelle has.

I hate people who say I don’t see colour because it such an ignorant statement. if you are neglecting to see their colour then you are not seeing their culture and it’s a massive part of their identity

Garcelle is the only reason I watch this franchise, and Kathy is the one that brought it up.

I liked this scene a lot. A lot of mature conversations

One of the best conversations in RH history. Intelligent, nonjudgmental, open.

she's so right... my dad would always tell me to watch out for things people might say or do to me from a VERY young age. and he was right.

Having a conversations like this is good but only productive if they really try to understand where the other person is coming from. I like this scene a bit because the conversion was mature.

Yes unfortunately that’s the world we’re in and I’m white so I feel for her.

I cried. My son turned 21. And I started buying him less hoodies. I had to have that conversation, and I would be so worried. And he knew he even hid the fact he was pulled over. He told me months later, but said it was fine. But this is a VERY needed moment in this franchise..

I appreciate the fact that these ladies talked about this and as difficult as it is we need to have these difficult conversations amongst a diverse group. We need to understand what we all are struggling with and society needs to take notice we need to know and understand. This is when the healing begins....
