[Bazaar by Tatyana Yerxa]
"The cacophony of music and voices immediately lets one know they could simply fade into the multitude of vibrantly dressed people. This is what the woman counts on. She pulls her hood tighter about her face and in the throng of the bazaar she sidles carefully between cart after cart, stand after stand not drawing attention.
Innumerable exotic aromas strike her. Jasmine from a passing noble. Cinnamon and ginger wafting from a nearby stall. Eucalyptus and spearmint steam coil about her from a man seated on the ground blowing from an elegant pipe. Her eyes meet his in serendipitous passing – purple, vivid purple. Shockingly familiar.
The moment that would have been is quickly interrupted! A large creature; the likes of which she has never lain eyes on, shuffles between her and the man. On an adorned leash its owner leads it haphazardly through the sea of shoppers. Lowering her head she notes its yellow eyes that watch her, a low rumble peeling from its throat as she once more gets lost in the crowd.
A woman with foreign tattoos calls out bids in two different languages for a strange blue feathered bird that quirks its head meticulously side to side. Its ruby eyes seem to lock on her, judging her every motion as she weaves around another merchant. The bird calls out with a beautiful note over the methodic music that – for a moment – she had forgot was playing. She shakes her head.
She cannot become distracted.
The gold - rounded cupolas that rise from the towers of the palace glint mesmerizingly in the mid-day sun. Its beauty is challenged by the colors and rapture that engulf the market. Yet still, this is her destination."

[The East - JunkyGuy]

Stuffing the energetic wrym back in his silk cradle, Admayr navigated the dense crowds and listened closely to the foreign tongue of its residents. He couldn’t understand much, but his name was universal. He would hear it just fine within the dense crowd and then would be the time to run, the trip east had made him paranoid for his own safety.

Jioyang was friendly enough, Naaji’s full stomach was proof of that. Children and other shopkeepers impressed by his regrowing bronze sheen tossed scraps of all kinds, although the wyrm preferred sushi, he thankfully wasn’t picky. This hospitality won’t last for long though, Jioyang is a trader’s paradise, not a drifter’s, and when the money stops flowing you might suddenly disappear randomly, this was no exception for its natives and citizens.

Despite the heat begging him to strip a few layers, he kept his searing black hood over his face. In fact, he needed more armor. The trip to the monastery would be perilous and staying in his rusted apparel would be a death wish. Knowledge is what he sought, he knew nothing of draconic heritage, not even the differences between metallic and chromatic other than who was bad and who was good. He was not equipped to take care of Naaji in the slightest.

After wading through hours of market towns full of odd trinkets and baubles, smells of foreign food, and roving samurai guardsmen the low drumming sound of cooling metal and rolling grindstones alerted Admayr to what he was looking for. Opening the blacksmith’s doors, with a pleasant bell signaling his entry, he immediately met eyes upon a young dwarven woman that was built bigger than he was. It was about at this time that Admayr truly remembered why he so desperately avoided attention…..he was beyond shy.

This reminds me of Egypt and Libya a little. Although if there were those mopeds and that then it'd be exactly like the bazaar I visited in Cairo. The music even sounds like what I heard coming form a few of the stalls there.
Great job creating a North African style sound.

This is exactly what I needed to write my novel that is based in the Sahara desert. The sounds also reminded me of my childhood spent in Morocco. Thank you for this.

Suddenly I’m thinking of the market place from Aladdin.

This one is great. I used it to write part of the opening scene in my book, I've listened to it several times through (and am listening to it again now just in the background). I love the music and the camel noises!

As our unknowing hero began his journey he first realized that he must go get supplies, and so he was off to the bazaar. Upon arriving he notices all the different varieties of shops, a tall man selling spices ranging from rosemary to cinnamon and even oregano. Another shorter Merchant was selling silky smooth veils for all of her female customers. Varieties of fruit, vegetables, and home cooked meals could be seen and smelt everywhere he went. After Gathering what he needed in his satchel, our hero set off, to Face new challenges and Adventures ahead.

Reminds me of when you go the City Detail screen in Civilization 5, the ambient sounds of people talking and children playing, combined with the Ancient/Classic Era music sounds JUST LIKE this. Good memories

Marcus: He's in Austria. A slight detour.

Sallah: You are on your own?

Marcus: Yes, but don't panic. Everything's under control. Have you arranged our supplies?

Sallah: Yes, of course. But where are we going?

Marcus: This map will show you. It was drawn

Man: Mr.Brody. Welcome to Iskenderun. The director of the Museum of Antiquities has sent a car for you.

Marcus: Well, your servant, sir.

Sallah: There is no museum in Iskenderun.

Man: Papers, please.

Sallah: Papers? Of course. Run

My brain can't help but pick out a few things, like the kid asking "What happened?" and a conversation that seems to be spoken between two American men. Other than that, this is a boppin' ambient track
