In order for the squat to be counted you need to go to or past the point of maximum tension which is femurs parallel to the ground. Not taking anything away from tyler but cutting the squat short like he did makes a huge difference, he could potentially be adding 100 plus pounds to his squat by cutting the ROM short like that.

545 and he moved it well asf but, the parallel is what counts the squat in terms of the gym freaks 💯 anyone doing that to the weight can’t be discredited

Do not go below parallel, it will waste the discs in the knees. Don’t try teaching if u don’t know. For training don’t do it but for a competition that requires it than go for the W.
