Have you ever had a Thanksgiving where you’re worried all day about the turkey and you feel like a crazy person trying to make all the sides at once? By the time everyone sits down for the Thanksgiving feast, your kitchen looks like a tornado went through it and you are ready for a 2 hour nap. It doesn’t have to be that way. Today, I’m going to take you through how I’m preparing for Thanksgiving to ensure that it’s a stress-free day so that I can focus on quality time with family. This is a longer style video so grab a cup of tea, sit back, relax, and enjoy!

I'll be making butternut squash soup, sourdough sausage stuffing, roasted vegetables, giblet gravy, and cranberry sauce. I'll also show you my homemade turkey rub and how I cook my turkey perfectly so that it's juicy and full of flavor. These are some of my favorite easy Thanksgiving recipes and all the food in this video happens to be dairy-free and egg-free.

The main problem I have with pre cut veggies is that they are more expensive due to the fact that you are paying for the people either in stores or factories doing the chopping.

I am not a fan of peeling butternut squash, wastes a lot like peeling sweet potatoes. Using a knife I just cut the squash into large chunks de seed it, oil season and roast. The paper skin just pulls away after roasting. You don't get all the roasty bits you get on the small chunks but there is caramelisation.
