I purchased 3 yards of white and sage polyester fabric at a wholesale outlet for $5 and I uses it to test before making my finish product. Yes, it does save you money and time.

The paper tip is a game changer! I’ve been trying to hack the system and always try to find ways to print 1-2 items on a page - especially when I’m printing something like a keychain or earrings. Thank you for this!!

The smaller paper is really great! There would be a lot less waste if you only want to make a small sublimation design. The information that you gave on how black sublimates was really interesting and helpful. I didn't know any of that, so thank you!

Thanks for these tips. I had a feeling I had overcooked a tumbler because the text was brown. Now I’ll dig that tumbler out of the trash and do some black test strips on it😄

I keep a drawer labeled "Test Materials". In it, I put old T-shirts of different fabric types and colours, and I use them to test before I sublimate on a new T-shirt.

Awesome tips from both of you. I have been using sawgrass paper in the epson printer, that may be part of the streaking problem, but, at least I am printing on the correct side. The envelop setting also helped. Thanx for all the info.

Omg! Angie thank you! This answers some of my question I encountered these like the small paper early today tried to use it but my Epson just spits it out even if I changed the paper size but I did not go to undefined so I will try that. Also I did not know about the protective coating 🙈 lordy 😂
But i'm sure they don't do those for polyester fabrics just the tumblers and hard materials right.

I always enjoy your videos Angie and have learned a lot from your tips. Sublimation has become my favorite craft. I don’t make things to sell, just for gifts and myself. I noticed your mug wrap didn’t have registration marks like I get when printing in design space. Can you recommend a better place to print from? So far I have mostly printed in DS. I’m slowly learning procreation my iPad but I’m looking for a simple way to print images for sublimation.

Love your videos! Question, how did you make the shirt you are wearing - THERE'S NO STRESS IN CRAFTING? I am getting all twisted on the different possible ways and I don't know how to make the intricate/lettered tshirt designs or ones with a lot of disconnected pieces and not sure which is the best way to go?? I do love sublimation, but I don't like having to use an easisubli htv white layer for non-whites and non-polyester shirts, and the whole lining up the layers. DTV seems the way to go, but then I feel like my sublimation printer purchase was a waste. Also DTV doesn't seem to last long, based on your one video with the wash test that showed the decal cracking after about 15-20 washes.

Hi Angie~ In your opinion which works better for making sublimation tumblers… an oven or a tumbler heat press?

I don't have a sub printer. Out of budget. Can stuff like this be done with ink jet printer? Video would be great!

Great video!!! Not sublimation related but what HTV did you use for your shirt! Thank you!

Maybe add that the Sawgrass warranty on the printer requires you to use their very expensive sublimation ink only. I made the mistake of ordering off brand because it was less expensive and now my warranty is void. Customer service would not help me until I replaced the ink cartridges. I tried to save money but in this case it wasn’t the right thing to do.
