The Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon sounds so fun and like a perfect pick-me-up book. Quite the descriptive title as well.

I hope you get to do something fun for your birthday! Yay that you had some good romance to balance out the heavier books this month. And as always, such a cute top!! You are my fashion icon. 🥰

_That Time I Got Drunk and Saved a Demon_ sounds vaguely like my college years without the romance elements.
Glad you liked _One Hundred Years of Solitude_. Those themes are problematic and somewhat common in GGMs work. I still havent figured it out. I need to read more Llosa, not sure this title will be my next though.

I am all for celebrating the entire birthday month, congrats! 🥳
I will never forgive The Flame and the Flower for making you cry. 🥊 So glad we don't have to read that again ever.
Yaaay Daria! This one had a bit more angst than I usually go for, but the sex early and often makes up for it 🔥
Nathaniel and Asher are some of my favorite side characters in the Anita Blake series - expect lots of awesomeness from them going forward! Don't mind Nathaniel's hair though, it changes length almost every book 😂

It sounds like final girl support group was a lot of fun and enjoyable but not that deep. Which can be nice from time to time! That is one that I have. The woodiwiss book sounds so bad to be honest :/ I have one hundred years of solitude that I want to read, and its good to know at some point its message becomes clear and his point of view as well... but its good to have a heads up for it going on. I think I might like the writing more! A lot like adios sounds right up my alley! 35 books in a series?! I am sincerely impressed you've gotten so far!

I remember reading One Hundred Years of Solitude in high school and loving it, but I definitely don't remember the incest/pedophilia (probably just conveniently blocked it out in my mind!). Having read Love in the Time of Cholera more recently, it doesn't come as a surprise. Glad it's not condoned in One Hundred Years, though. Happy Birthday (month)!
