Had a few new starters today so we all jumped on a little build to smash it out. Had a little go with time lapse to show a bit of the build in a few minutes. Walls up, insulated , ceiling lights 1st fixed, rubber and roof trims on. A productive day. had a few issues uploading it, so couldn't narrate it or add music, ill try a bit harder on the next, Flying these in now, but never compromise on the finish

That's a HUGE crew from such a small place, I think you reach a point when THAT many people isn't actually speeding the project up / making a better results. Essentially the homeowner is just paying out the ass to have quite a few people standing around at any given time. It looks like there are at least 5 people on site at any given time. There is no way 5 people can all be consecutively working on the small tiny building at the same team. That should be AT MOST 3 people on that project.

That being said, it looks like they're doing a good job and the work looks top-notch (but it also looks expensive 😅)

Tip for the workers: keep changing your top and hat, or else William will use these videos to calculate who the big stand-around-talking guys are.😎

Makes for the possibility of travel with a big crew and fast work.

Your next video idea could be showing who’s works for your company and talk about themselves a bit. Just a thought

Thanks for all the great videos, they have explained a lot about the process. One thing I might have missed was how do you deal with guttering/soakaways? Do you even bother with a soakaway for your garden rooms?

Hey William. Great Video's. Been waiting a long time for this kind of thing on you tube. I am going to try and build my own garden room as i cant afford to get someone to do it. |ve been watching very closely as to how you do things. Im struggling with something that i hope you would be kind enough to help me with. I want to finish both exterior sides flush with the edge trim on the edpm roof rather than have an over hang. Ive looked at loads of pictures of rooms that have it. I really like the look. Do i have to calculate my roof joist spacings to account for the fact that i will have to put the edge of the OSB board starting from the very edge of the cladding. So the cladding is 20mm cladding along with the 18mm battens and 11 OSB side sheets that all come to 49mm beyond the edge of my roof joists. Do i just need to calculate my first 400 centre from the finished edge of the cladding or is there another way to do it. I hope that made sense. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Question. What timber would you use on a 24' x 16' roof? Doors on the 24' side also could it be done in rubber? Thanks and fantastic work

As a matter of interest why don’t you use a 100x100 mm flat square washer on your base stakes instead of the U sanction shoes?
