Picking Gungo Peas Fresh from the Yard!

Today we are picking and prepping some gungo peas with Mokko & Ratty! Also known as pigeon peas, these are a super versatile legume used all over the world but especially in the Caribbean. We have a shelling race, try some raw peanut, check out the pigeon pea tree, reminisce about some cool guests, and what to do about bad dogs....

Mokko eats what he plants. He plants all his food. I like this very much. Because of that, he probably doesn’t see inside of a doctor’s office often and he is grooming his grandson to do the same.
