Dove straight into your recommended books. One insists on focusing strictly on a single obsession, another points out this would result in phantom limb pain while diverse pursuits are enriching. The upshot being, as usual, "do whatever the hell you please, rationalize later."

What do you think of making some longer podcasts? I really enjoy listening to someone while I work on my 3D stuff. I did this with the podcasts by Andrew Price - but your podcasts / Q&A's are a little bit short... :( I think we would all love to hear some interesting stories of our most ambitious coffe drinker ;)

how do you get into 3D Visualisation as a job, or 3D Artist in general. I know there are a few years of learning yourself but what do you do in the time after school ?You become a student ? or sit at home all day learning to end up with a good portfolio. I dont want to sit at home ;)

I'am 18 and my first goald was to become a hacker and 2 years ago a frend of mine introduce me to computer grahics .i strated with blender and now i am learning Unreal engine 4 and want to become a game devllopper.Thats mine new dream and i am woking hard to achieve it. But inside of me i still want to become a hacker.
