Coromandel Express has collided with goods train in Odisha's Balasore district on Friday. The collision took place near the Bahanaga railway station in Balasore district and several passengers of the express train are feared dead with a lot more trapped inside the overturned coaches of the superfast train.

It is simple to prevent such accidents
1.never run trains adjacent tracks put a empty no run track between runs
2.if run adjacent tracks run in same direction with certain gap say 15-30km gaps ie 15 min gaps min
3 increase freight tracks segregation as urgently as possible into 1up n 1dn, ie 1000kms must b made each 30 states within a Yr do what u want make them use army territorial army ntc machines l n t whatever it takes
4.signalling nd phone visibility with other trains made availabilie to loco pilots tracking real time navigation so that they know the distance between thr train n next, approaching curvatures etc
4 terrain and straightingvof curvationbnd tracks urgent
5 navigation software n communication centre for LPS remotely to chk gps tagged trains all times
6. Slotted runs for one way running of trains say morning runs for certain trains
Increase loops lengths for parking of goods trains say 2 km loops ie to b run when least traffic and mandated
7 never take safety lightly ensure safety for different purposes r ensured each taking care of thr respective jobs.... From maintaince tracks n locos to LPS training signals software apps ticketing all security must b increased

Is accident me Locopilot or station master ki koi galti nahi hai. Ye interlocking device/ Signal ka problem hai. Ab Track maintainer/ Electric engineers/ Maintenance logon ko pakad kar punch tach karna padega.
