I'm a software director who hasn't coded for work in 20+ years, my background is mostly C. I dove right into this having never done any Python or Git. It definitely took some time to get up and running with the first week. In the middle of it now. Only being able to devote about 10hrs a week, it's going to take me longer than 7 weeks for sure. One thing that's weird, if I want the "professional certificate" (not just course cert) I have to go back and take intro to CS with Python which I don't think will be useful for someone like me. I have a comp eng background already and when I get through CS50AI, I will know enough Python.

And another one called ”Machine Learning and AI with Python” wich is slightly shorter.
Wich one is best to start off with if im brand new to this?

Hi! I have a question regarding certificate. I saw on edx that if you take two courses of computer science, for example: CS50 Introduction to Computer Science and CS50W Web Programming with Python and Javascript, you are eligible for a program certificate. Is that then still worth paying?

Lol, Brian's frowning face that's always looking into the yonder.

That said, I've taken CS50W and CS50X but i think I prefer Brian's explanation to professor Malan's. Although both are great teachers.

Brian Yu is a great instructor. Cutting 0, 5 point because cs50x is run by djm is a very subjective and inaccurate opinion. All yt AI courses are below what Brian is doing. Not to mention his amazing succinct guidance in cs50x problem sets.
