The wasps were just thristy. You may try installing a waspinator decoy, or hanging some mint or citronella planters there to deter them. Just make sure to instal another flowing water feature on the other sde of the area so they go there instead and still have water. They are important.

I'm excited about the Anker generator and the Itehill R.O. filter! They're both the perfect size for 'van life' builds or a tiny camper set up. I expected the filter to be priced similarly to the generator but it's under 500, which would be in my budget if I were to ever be able to actually start my own journey! This video is definitely going in my gadgets playlist!

Ok, since I worked on a lot of RO water systems, that difference at 4:39 was because system was flushing the filters :) Also with TDS meters and filters: If it is just reverse osmosis membrane and some sediment/charcoal filters the TDS coming out should be 0. However most water filtration systems add like calcium and mineral filters so the water taste better and is better for drinking.

Do you have a ceramic filter and / or UV sterilisation for microbial contamination on the rain water capture? Have a look at maximus ironthumpers videos about water purification
