If generator is the heart of a power system then Transmission line is the veins and arteries of power system. It actually carries the power and interconnects all the source and utilities.
Interestingly conventional over cureent protection is not suitable for transmission line protection. The most common protection used for transmission line is distance protection or impedance protection. In this video we shall be discussing about impedance protection of transmission line.

concepts of distance protection you have explained but the characteristic of distance relays i.e quadrilateral characteristics, blinders, load encroachment need to be explained sir.UNDER REACH, OVER REACH, SETTING OF DISTANCE RELAY, STUB PROTECTION, CARRIER SCHEMES, ARE TO BE EXPLAINED FOR COMPLETE DISTANCE PROTECTION SIR.
