PetSolutions: Reef Octopus Super Reef XP1000 Space Saver Skimmer

The Super Reef XP1000 incorporates machine cast acrylic construction with an efficient Bubble Blaster HY 1000S water pin wheel pump in a space saving design for in-sump operation. The water pump is located directly under the reaction chamber to allow the use of a large body skimmer chamber (6" Diameter) and integrated Gate valve controlled outlet pipe in a minimal footprint for easy in-sump installation. The Collection Cup has a drain port to extend periods between cleaning while the Air Silencer minimizes the air injection noise of the skimmer. Placing the pump under the reaction chamber allows less back pressure on the pump to inject the water into the skimmer, increasing the efficiency with no additional power requirement. The Bubble Blaster pump has a digital control circuit board to control the direction of the impeller and RPM speed to allow enormous air pull for efficient foam production. There is a 3 year warranty on the bubble Blaster Pump and 1 year on the skimmer.
