I would be curios to see another video with real world use of it. free style, ramp, street. and get a prespective on how it feels compared to a regular wood board.

The green ply binder is most likely UL 752 level polycarbonate ballistic grade plastic. That's my best guess.

You guys inspired me to buy a skateboard and start skateboarding I started two days ago I can ride around and I can almost do an Ollie

Wow that was way more durable than expected. The way it held the car up was impressive. The flight deck just bent straight to the ground in the other video.

The last few days have been the best of my life, I've finally got kickflips consistent and everything else just in general has come together for me

That was awesome. I know the guy was bummed they got to break. But come on, that board would have lasted me multiple lifetimes.

This is just what skateboards should be made out of. I’m excited to see how this design evolves.

The loss of pop comes from the board aging and attaining moisture etc. But I do also think its affected by the tail since the thickness has been reduced on the point of contact means there is less force pushing the board up that moment you pop.

The flexibility of the thinner edge of a razor-tail board absolutely results in less pop. At the moment of contact, the thin edge hits the ground and inelastically deforms. This transfers most of the energy to bending the thin edge instead of moving it up.

I'm guessing that the green stuff is similar to the stuff inside hockey sticks. It's basically a material that fills micro-fractures in the stick (in this case, board). Just a guess.

I figured it out. The secret is shock absorption. If you wanna make a PERFECT unbreakable board it needs to not only survive slams, razor and chip, it needs to not snap your ankles off big drops. If someone could create a board that can safely absorb big drops without any damage it'd revolutionise skating forever

Using only two bolts certainly puts more stress on them making them more likely to snap if over-stressed. It doesn't happen often, but personally have had a truck bolt or two break while skating. Four bolts distributes the stress more.

Really cool how they use different types of wood at different areas of the skateboard. If they start selling in Europe I won't hesitate to order one.

I remember the first one soooo long ago! Amazing what it has come to grow to and you got the guys who made it on with you this time! THAT'S SO SICK!

This is what I need while trying to get back into Skating. I also need my bones to be as robust 😂

Reminds me of the "bulletproof" boards from about 22 years ago. They were made of fiberglass or something and claimed to be unbreakable, but they broke just the same.

Wow that's a tuff board. Under normal use and care it would last a long time. The tails could use replaceable skid plates to help prevent razoring as far as everything else it's great. If you can make this thing any stronger in the middle. It will be the ultimate board. That green stuff is just wow.

We need Andy Anderson for testing. He has a very detailed and unique way of explaining skateboards.
