20 Best MCU Character Redesigns (And 7 Worst)

There’s got to be some kind of superhero fashion industry rising to power in the MCU at this point. Throughout the ever expanding films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, characters we’ve come to know and love have gone through change after change. Others take a large departure from their comic counterparts and sometimes these look great, and others, well… When a character has been around for awhile, they just have to show up with some new threads time and time again. There are some characters on this list who have been through quite the roller coaster when it comes to their MCU design. From new capes, to shoes to haircuts and occasionally a full on color scheme change, let’s take a look at the best and worst character redesigns in the MCU right now.

Sometimes, character changes can really affect the design of them in the MCU. Most of the time this really works well, and others not so much. From heroes to villains to Baskin Robbins workers, the character redesigns are sometimes top notch and sometimes a swing and a miss. Which character has gone through the greatest series of redesigns? Which character do you feel got the best redesign?

I absolutely love Wanda Maximoff's Scarlet Witch uniform, and I'm very excited to see her wear it again when "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" releases.

I honestly don't know why everyone hates Quicksilver, i mean sure he wasn't a main hero like Wanda, Captain America or Ironman, but he was a nice side character. His suit wasn't cool but it wasn't that bad. I could imagine it to be a lot harder to run with some armour. Overall his sacrifice was made for a good reason in the movie (Marvel was dealing with copyright issues at the time). Respect Quicksilver.

Capts Winter Solider suit was one of my favorite. And Chris Evens said it was his favorite also. I think that's the one he kept after filming.

I think Doctor Strange and Mysterio's outfit designs are great. they look so cool in the mcu compared to their cheesy looks in older comics. They really did well there. Also love Moon Knight's armor and Khonshu looks really cool too. he really does look like an ancient intimidating god

Now the only person that really needs a redesign is Hulk. Make him more like Savage Hulk in the comics.

I really wish they made Spider-Man's classic suit like the classic suit in the PS5 game. The classic suit of the game straight up looks like it jumped out of the original Amazing Spider-Man comics. The NWH classic suit was lit too but I like the one in the game more.

I actually like what they did with Ultron because I believe he'll be back. Ultron in the comics is constantly updating himself after he analyzes each defeat. This was his beginning look I feel. I truly believe he'll be back in a new look soon.

WANDA/ELIZABETH IS A QUEEN I love how she stood up for herself and showed her self respect by demanding they get rid of the cleavage (and she looks waaayyyy cooler without it) she is my non-sexulized female hero and I love her so much for that

Love Wanda but the og costume is where it's at. Pretty sure she still wears it in the comics. Its her

Mysterio knocked it out the party with that new new. As fake as it was, it looked like pure magic. 😉 And Wanda's is my favorite upgrade. I also like Captain Marvel's.

11:04 I loved Hawkeye's uniforms in the movies. They looked cool and practical, and they weren’t entirely black and grey. The costume he got in the show was awful. It looked more like Hawkeye merch, than a real costume for a hero. Then again, it was designed by kate, and made by cosplayers, so I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

Hawkeye is an agent of SHIELD. Of course he'd look like one. Clint’s not Tony. His job is to be invisible, and not draw attention to himself.

Besides, with that logic, Natasha could just be any SHIELD agent too, if she didn’t have the red hair and the hourglass.

I love Moon Knight's suit and Mr. Knight's. There's obviously a lot of work put into making them look good. The behind the scenes pictures show egyptian 'spells' worked into the actual armor and the cape. Steven's suit has beautiful detailing all over to make it not just a white suit. Psycho Colonel Sanders indeed. I can't wait to see the third suit. I really think Moon Knight worked hard to make the costumes look good. They did phenomenal work on Khonshu, Ammit, Taweret, and Layla also look awesome.

I really like the homecoming suit design and never liked the iron spider. As for his self-made one at the end of no way home, it's the perfect mix of love (the classic design) and hate (that shinny-ass fabric).
