I love that in Snape’s dying moments he said that Harry had his mother’s eyes. Snape spent so much time comparing Harry to James that he finally admitted that he had Lily inside of him too. That could explain Harry’s look of shock.

Harry's last words on Snape: “The bravest man I've ever known.”

I love the way harry potter goes from a magical childrens story to a dark and brutal war scenario. It really matured with its audience

And to think Snape wasn’t just protecting Harry, he was also protecting Draco here

At that moment when Harry put his hand on Snape to comfort him despite everything, then he must have realised Harry was not James but Lily.

I also appreciate Harry in this scene. He was able to hold back his grudge and helped Snape. Hadn’t he done that and ignored Snape’s last request, they would’ve lost the battle.

Snape had such an unfair life, I feel really bad for him

I think, for me, this is the worst death in Harry Potter; simply because when Snape dies, he dies completely and totally alone. He believes that everyone hates him and what he's done is unforgivable.

I can't imagine how relieved Snape must have been to see Harry, so that his mission would not fail.

"you have your mother's eyes" it's said hundreds of times in the series but when Snape says it as his last it's truly one of the greatest lines in movie history

I love how he just finally gets to drop the mask, and just cries and let's put all of the emotions and begs harry to take his memories so everything can be right

When you realize that Snape was actually one of the good guys from the very beginning it makes his death hurt even more

The Last Thing He Saw Were Lily’s Eyes.

The way he says “please” as he’s squeezing his tears out is so wonderfully delivered. You can hear not just his pain, but the desperation too. This is his last chance for Harry to finally understand him and all that he did. What we learn of him later makes this death so tragic yet noble. To think that you’d die with everyone thinking you’re a villain must be so painful. That pitiful please tells so much.

I love how Snape begged for him to take his memories not only so that harry could know the truth, but that all the people snape actually cared about (like mcgonagall) could know that he wasn’t a monster and actually loved them
