ArchiCAD 16 Render First look

First impressions of ArchiCAD 16, quick render and a few images

Nice to see that some people still use the ArchiCAD rendering engine and get good results. Although for my personal taste, the workflow inside ArchiCAD and the struggle to tweak lights and materials is not efficient, so I'd rather use Cinema4D for that. Artlantis is also recommended. FWIW, the e-book by Dwight Atkinson is also valuable.

They have just built up over the years and we save them to A library file set which we keep on our server. Happy to email you any objects you maybe wanting, but in 16 theres an object search and you can find any object with ease.

Yes, i agree the results are much cleaner from Cinema 4D, but unforntunately we cant make the extra time and fees involved to clients add up, so the AcrhiCAD Engine is our primary on nearly all projects these days

anyone no why when im rendering the black objects are coming out as white-ish, obviously something to do with exposiur but cant figure it out??

No, they are not even the same "kind", 3D Max does what it's name says, and ArchiCAD is a program for making architectural plans of building, bridges...

you don't explain anything here- tutorial wise. I wanted to learn how to do some lighting and all you do is show us the end result; I guess I'm too much of an amateur.
