cool thanks. I tightened the gas cap. which shouldnt of been loose being that I had 200 miles since I put gas in and unplugged the positive cable for about 10 seconds and its off now

Thanks for your video! That worked on my 2011 Ram and gave me a P0585 code which is cruise control. However, my check engine light is on and the guy at Advance Auto said the code reader said code P1524 is why the light is on. That's "oil pressure is of range". I wonder why it didn't give me both code numbers?

I tried doing this on my 2014 Ram 1500 Express and all it will show is some dotted lines and then it says DONE. I guess it won’t read the code or won’t tell you on specific code types.

Got a check engine light today (2012 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Edition) so I did this and while it does show the lines and -DONE- after, it does not show any codes, so I guess this only applies to certain codes?

My check engine light came on on my 2014 Ram. I tried this but it did not show any codes. Just showed the done afterwards. Guess I'll have to get it checked.

No idea. Mine has the check engine light on(not blinking) and the code just says -Done-
