My boy isn't too fond of jumping whips touching him on the shoulder, being an ex-racehorse.. but He's getting better.. My farrier was being "funny" one day and cracked a stockwhip as I let him loose in the paddock and Mitch looked up like "WTH you crazy man, wierdo." and that was the only reaction, so he's definately getting better :D

Haha, my horse would have bolted even if I lifted the whips! He's terrified of them, he's a rescue that was beaten earlier in his life.

Good job on using the hackamore. I just ride with a nylon halter most of the time. Though, the mare i ride still has problems and she wouldn't enjoy me standing on her anytime soon lol.
