asus is under alot of stress right now for the am5 mobo i cant recommend using a asus am5 mobo till they realese a public statement and replace all the chips that have died to they messed up bios they been useing

The old Asus WS boards were better than theyre gamer target boards in my opinion. The P9X79 EWS was the best X79 motherboard you could get. Id take a P9X79 EWS with an E5 1680 V2 (3rd gen intel 16 threads) over most modern systems all day long.

I can always have more USB ports to plug in my wheel and oculus at the same time I had to add 2 USB expansion cards 2 USB 3 and 2 USB 2

yes nice usb 4th gen but if i would buy that MB i dont think i would afford a 4th gen usb stick or all the other parts

It might have all those m.2 slots but does it have enough lanes for 4 m.2 drives to be completely maxed out? With a gen 4 gpu and 2 additional expansion cards? Doubt it. I wish cpus/motherboards came with more pcie lanes and genral expandability. 28 and below is garbage. 44 and up is where it's at.
