As a defensive guy myself, hearing Coach saying the D-Line was domjnant at the end gets me going. AU has missed that pure pass rusher or the guy that just disrupts everything on the inskde since Derrick Brown and Marlon several years back. Cant wait to see this defense. I think theyll be good enough to keep us in most all the games. Offense will be alright under Hugh.

I'm with most everyone in the comments. I don't like some of the things Coach said, but at least he said it. Glad to have a coach that's not going to sugarcoat things. WDE! 🦅

His first two statements cause some concern. "We ran the ball exceptionally well", against our defense. He also said the pass protection was lacking. Our TWO biggest problems last season.

No reason to get emotional about who's gonna start at QB. I trust the coaches eval. NO TURNOVERS is something to be excited about. A good qb competition is something to be excited about. Athletes at RB and WR is something to be excited about.

If it was me I would put the 1st string in and put in 3rd string defense. Put the 3rd string offense in against the 1st string D. Just for shits and giggles.

i’m just saying If robby is the QB we will be in trouble. I say he just joins butchs squad and leaves the football team. I love him but truthfully he’s not the right one.
