I love how Garth wears his normal clothes when the scene begins and then is suddenly wearing the Reebok clothes during his line and in the next shot he’s back to his regular clothes.

I love how it starts out small, with little Pepsi and Mountain Dew cans in the bottom right of the screen on the table. It looks simple and unassuming, just like any other movie. But then they just get more and more deliberately upfront with it, and even make fun of what they're doing with the "and that's just real sad" line. God, this movie is good.

Even when I was a kid watching this, "Nuprin" had already fallen to the wayside, but that "Little. Yellow. Different." shit is still stuck in my head.

I think one of my favorites things about this scene is seeing the old package designs and logos that were in use in the early '90s. Such a cool throwback.

One of the most intelligent scenes in movie's history: it makes money and it makes people laugh, it sells the product while making it part of a joke that doesn't even ruin its image, it's the perfect win-win situation.

I like how, other than it being shot on film, all of the "commercial" shots with Wayne could easily still pass for modern TV commercials over 30 years later, like commercial lighting hasn't changed that much since 1992.

As funny as Wayne and Garth are in this scene it's those little looks from Rob Lowe of him almost getting how weird this situation is but then just powering through it with his conversation.

You know I noticed something. We see where Wayne gets the products, since you can get a glimpse of them at the craft table. There are two boxes of Pizza Hut brand Pizza, one bag of classic label Doritos and 1 can of Pepsi among the bottles and cans of Pepsi and Mountain Dew. Making it a bit realistic in an otherwise cartoonish scene. Yet we never could find where Garth got the Reebok gear or the Nuprin.
