Listening to this song hits different when we all now know the horrible treatment/abuse she's endured in her recent relationship 😭. I pray for her safety and her healing on this new journey as a single mother. I'm proud of her for being able to finally walk away..she deserves the very best in life 💕. Maybe it's because I grew up watching her on Disney/Nickelodeon but I feel very protective of her like a sister and I also know what it's like to be in a very toxic relationship so it truly breaks my heart that she's going through all of this. She's such a strong, powerful, beautiful woman but I hope she has people around her that have her back and lift her up during this tough time.

What I noticed is that sometimes it is our own selves that make us feel these ways as well! so ungorgeous 😔in that first section of the song when she says “and it’s all because of you” they mirror her looking at herself. We all fight with ourselves to do better to feel better and look better to eat better all these things. I really felt that. Thank you at Keke Palmer and writers for this song.
