I just feel like half of these players wouldn't be nearly as cocky if they were getting their asses beat in 3rd strike or something like that. I wouldn't be feeling myself too hard in this game. Still gotta give him props for beating Daigo though.

i honestly don't know why daigo wastes his time going to tournaments anymore, i much rather have him go full time streamer, and then attend a tournament occasionally here and there. i enjoy it more when daigo does cool things on his stream like the cosplay tournament, or his kuroda hug challenge, but since he travels so much his stream is usually the younger players, or some other thing. at this point daigo has nothing to prove, he is already a legend winning another tournament doesn't add anything.

When Daigo was in his prime, he was still young. I bet he was a cocky one just like any other player. Maybe Daigo needs to get back to his youth and throw out his legacy, focus on playing for the win with straight up disrespect.
