Historically yes, this was one of Anne’s cleverest moves. She had already lost Henry to the “Imperial Lady” during her pregnancy with Elizabeth, she needed to know Henry wouldn’t stray that far again. Unfortunately, Lady Shelton (Anne’s cousin and already married) became pregnant as well and wasn’t able to stay Henry’s mistress for more than the one pregnancy, and Anne’s future attempts to get the Imperial Lady removed only cemented Henry wanting her around. He was like a stubborn child: Try to take something away and he clung that much harder to it.

I hate the way movies and tv shows portraits Anne Boleyn. She was smart, and she heartily believed in reforming the Catholic church. She was no pawn in her father's game and she wasn't a harlot. Despite the fact that Henry destroyed all her legacy, historians have nothing but good things to say about that queen.

Tbh I’m not understanding yes you trust her but that girl was super uncomfortable with the idea… you can tell she doesn’t want to do it but that is her friend so she wants to help in anyway she can but I don’t think this is a way!
