I'm a stay at home Dad, which began because my wife had a good job opportunity and my prospects were not great at the time. A babysitter would have sucked up the majority of the money I could have made, and our daughter is special needs, making things that much harder. I've had to deal with nearly limitless insults for "not helping out" or "sitting around all day" from people who dump their kids with babysitters or daycares and act like they are so much better than anyone actually talking an active role is raising their children. I'm no less invested in this country while not working, and my wife is no less invested because she's not with our child every waking moment. People need to butt out and stop trying to control others. And could you imagine how much worse it would be if we were a same sex couple? We're already interracial, which makes things harder. Why do people want to vote for these bastards again?

I am a 58 year old liberal! I have 2 daughters, 30 and 34. Both are liberal and my oldest has her degree in theology. She chose this because she is a Christian with 5 children. She was incredibly tired of hearing republican vitriolic attitudes toward the LGBTQIA community. They left the church because they have 4 daughters and a son. She didn't want them indoctrinated. My youngest does not have children. They were raised to love God and in doing so, you treat others the way he did. He did not hang out with the elite. Also remember what happened when he found money changing in the temple. I'm really disgusted by his harmful self interest wrapped in religion!
