I always imagined, after Donna lost her memories, that the ood would come and care for her. Always at a discrete distance, never interacting directly, but that they'd be listening for her, and shielding her from the worst of the alien nonsense the doctor gets up to. Mostly I'd just love to see some Ood in these specials!
