In the new 3-part series ‘War on Waste’ passionate planet advocate and prankster Craig Reucassel will once again dive deep into Australia’s waste crisis to uncover the truth about recycling; answer our most-asked waste questions, and provide straightforward solutions to help us stem the waste tide. He’ll set new challenges for corporations, councils and communities, and among new and emerging waste topics investigate the impact of microplastics and ‘forever chemicals’ in food packaging, and inside our bodies as well. As we emerge from the pandemic have we become a better - or worse - waste nation? Have our governments caught up to community attitudes? And what more can all of us be doing?

This is the official ABC TV + iview YouTube channel. Here you’ll find a mix of trailers, behind the scenes content, interviews and clips from all your favourite ABC shows.

Good on you, Hannah! You're such an inspiration! So many people talk about saving the world but what are they actually doing about it? If we all at least composted our organic kitchen waste, it goes a long way to keeping food waste out of landfill.

These people seem to be very superficial and ignorant. Just ask yourself what sort of person would think "food waste" is somehow a problem. Food waste is a good thing as it means people can't starve because food is so cheap and abundant.
