I remember being around 7 years old and having nightmares, so I would get up in the middle of the night and come sleep on the floor at the foot of my parents bed. I remember this being on and being comforted by the "beans and cornbread" song.
It just randomly popped into my head and I thought maybe I imagined it until I found this. I've just recently lost my entire family and the nostalgia of this is so comforting. Thanks for the upload ❤

Oh my god. I was probably like 4 years old, but I never forgot this show. It has a permanent place in the back of my mind for some reason. Because it was just my mom and I so I'd watch stuff like this with her. .. I don't recall the movies inbetween, just the show. When the theme song started playing I almost got misty eyed from nostalgia. Haha
