How do trees provide clean water?

Some success stories begin with failures.

Joram is a farmer. His forest used to be a wasteland. His well used to run dry, and his community suffered. Since restoring his trees, water has come back to the well and now provides for his entire Ugandan village. Life is good.

We spoke to Joram to find out how reforestation has improved his life.

"We find that tree planting is actually life for water, and water is also life for people and animals, as well as sustainability of everything," he told Ecosia.

Right on. This is great news. Thank you Ecosia for posting this video. I am glad that I can still use Google's engine via Ecosia in order to plant trees by going to the "more" tab and then clicking "Google, " because Google has been greatly blessed with an amazing search engine and there are certain things that Ecosia's engine doesnt do, like show me the etymology or definition of a word when I type it into the search bar or the population of a country.
