In this video we review and unbox the Ring Pet Tag. The Ring Pet Tag is a metal engraved pet tag that has an engraved QR code on the tag. It does not have a battery in it and does not allow you to track the location in real time. However once you set up the Tag on the Ring app it will notify you if your pets tag is scanned so you can find your lost pet. You set up your pets information and profile in the Ring App so that is someone scans the Tag they will have your information to return your pet and you will also be notified that your pets tag was scanned so you can retrieve your pet.

Does the person who found the pet and scans the Ring Tag, required to have the Ring Neighbors App installed on their phone in order for this to work?
Because not everybody uses Ring.
