As of March 1, Mexicans without a work or study permit have to apply for a visa to travel to Canada. The aim is to stem the rapid rise in the number of asylum seekers from Mexico, from 260 in 2016 to almost 24,000 by the end of 2023. But the measure closes the door on some legitimate refugees, and literally separates certain families, say critics.

I’m pretty sure Hannah is not the problem. Living close to the Mexican border the people that are the problem repeatedly show up at our police department and hospitals.

Canada is a geopolitically coddled country. Still historically a harsher climate provided more challenges.

The Canadian government forgot to spend money on where new Canadians are to live!
This past July 2023 there were many new Canadians living on the streets without shelter, how can the Canadian Government
ask there good people to come here and then forget them once they get in the door!
And this whole issue is made even worse with the current Global Economic issues and affordable housing which is a problem on a Global level.
